Frequently Asked Questions About Online RTT Hypnotherapy
Considering RTT hypnotherapy? Here are answers to the questions I’m most often asked about online RTT hypnotherapy for anxiety, overthinking, confidence, emotional burnout, performance pressure and stop smoking. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for, please get in touch.
What happens during an online RTT hypnotherapy session?
Every RTT journey begins with a pre-session consultation where we explore the challenges you’re experiencing and what you’d like to achieve.
During your RTT session, you’ll be guided into a deeply relaxed state where we explore the subconscious beliefs and patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Together, we’ll identify the root cause before creating new, empowering beliefs that support lasting change.
After your session, you’ll receive a personalised recording to listen to daily for at least 21 days. This helps reinforce the new thought patterns and supports your subconscious mind as the changes become more natural. Your RTT package also includes three weekly follow-up calls and ongoing support throughout your programme.
Will I remember everything during the session?
Yes. You remain aware and in control throughout the session. Most clients describe it as feeling deeply relaxed while still being able to hear, respond and remember everything we discuss.
Where are sessions held?
All RTT hypnotherapy sessions are held online via Zoom, allowing me to work with clients throughout the UK and internationally.
Online sessions are ideal for busy professionals and yacht crew, offering the flexibility to attend from the comfort of your own home, hotel, yacht or wherever you are in the world.
Are online RTT sessions as effective as face-to-face sessions?
Yes. Online RTT hypnotherapy is just as effective as in-person sessions. As long as you have a quiet, private space and a stable internet connection, you’ll receive the same personalised support and experience.
Many of my clients choose online sessions because they fit around demanding work schedules and allow them to access therapy wherever they are.
Can RTT help if I don’t know why I feel anxious?
Absolutely. Many people know how they feel but don’t understand why.
RTT is designed to uncover the subconscious beliefs, experiences and emotional patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, overthinking or low confidence. Once these root causes are understood, we can begin changing the beliefs that no longer serve you.
Can RTT help with burnout and performance pressure?
Yes.
Many of my clients are high-performing professionals and yacht crew who spend long periods under pressure. Over time, constant stress can lead to emotional burnout, anxiety, overthinking and difficulty switching off.
RTT helps identify the subconscious patterns driving these responses, allowing you to feel calmer, more resilient and more confident under pressure.
Why do yacht crew choose RTT hypnotherapy?
Working on yachts can be incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with long hours, high expectations, limited downtime and constant pressure to perform.
I specialise in helping yacht crew overcome anxiety, emotional burnout, confidence challenges, overthinking and performance pressure so they can enjoy their careers while protecting their wellbeing.
Sessions are held online, making it easy to work together wherever your yacht is located.
Does RTT involve regression?
Regression is one of the techniques used within RTT to help uncover the subconscious beliefs and experiences that may be contributing to your current challenges.
Rather than reliving difficult experiences, you’ll observe them safely from an adult perspective, allowing you to understand their meaning and create healthier beliefs moving forward.
How is RTT different from traditional hypnotherapy?
Rapid Transformational Therapy combines hypnotherapy with psychotherapy, neuroscience and coaching techniques.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, RTT aims to identify and transform the subconscious beliefs driving unwanted behaviours, helping create meaningful and lasting change.
What issues can RTT help with?
RTT may help with a wide range of challenges, including:
- Anxiety
- Overthinking
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Emotional burnout
- Performance pressure
- Stress
- Limiting beliefs
- Stop smoking
- Phobias
- Habit change
- Public speaking confidence
- Personal development
Is hypnosis the same as being in a trance?
Not quite.
Hypnosis is a natural state of focused attention and relaxation. Most people enter similar states every day, such as when driving a familiar route or becoming absorbed in a good book.
During RTT, you’ll remain aware, relaxed and able to communicate throughout the session.
Is RTT suitable for everyone?
RTT is suitable for many people, although it may not be appropriate for everyone. Before working together, we’ll discuss your goals and circumstances to ensure RTT is the right approach for you.
If I don’t believe RTT is suitable, I’ll always let you know and, where appropriate, recommend a more suitable option.
Is RTT backed by scientific research?
Research into hypnotherapy continues to grow, with studies suggesting it may be beneficial for issues such as anxiety, stress and habit change.
RTT combines evidence-informed therapeutic approaches, including hypnotherapy, psychotherapy and cognitive techniques, to help identify and change subconscious beliefs that influence thoughts, emotions and behaviours
