RTT Hypnotherapy is a big commitment to yourself and you’re bound to have a lot of questions! Here are some answers to the most likely question you may have, but feel free to get in contact if you have other queries…
What to expect before, during and after an RTT session
A session typically involves a pre-talk to discuss the issue, induction into hypnosis, exploration of subconscious beliefs, and the use of personalised suggestions to bring about positive changes.
RTT Therapy typically lasts for one to three sessions. Sessions are about 1.5/2.5 hours long. It starts with a separate pre session chat about the issue. We know that 90% of all our behaviours, issues and habits are rooted in the subconscious mind, its so important to uncover what these roots are at its core.
After our session, you will receive a bespoke audio recording which you will listen to for 21 days.
The RTT session will change the behaviour and the audio will rewire the changes from our session, helping you to adapt and change your thought processes. You will receive 3x 20-minute weekly follow-up on line calls where we will note down the changes you have noticed and made. You will also receive support from me via texts within your RTT package.
Will I remember everything from the session?
Yes, you will be aware of everything we discussed. During the session on line, you will achieve heightened awareness. Your body will feel completely relaxed and your subconscious mind will be fully engaged.
Where are the sessions held?
All sessions are currently held online. Online sessions provide the flexibility to accommodate busy schedules, offering the convenience of one’s preferred location & granting clients the freedom to engage comfortably.
Are online sessions as effective as face-to-face?
Yes, zoom sessions are just as effective as face to face meetings and over 90% of sessions are currently held on line. Online fits around people’s busy lives, the comfort of their own location and clients enjoy the freedom that this affords.

Many clients see instant changes.
Gradual – You may experience shifts in your thinking & behaviour gradually over time.
Retrospective – Change is not initially obvious, then one day, you reflect on where you have come from & realise the transformation in your life.
How does RTT Work?
Working with me will help you to better understand and interpret events, how they have or are affecting you and how together we can change your reaction to these going forward. RTT may be able to help you overcome issues if you are struggling with confidence, anger issues, anxiety. RTT helps you change automatic feelings of fear into excitement, breaking away from destructive behaviours that are causing physical or emotional pain.
RTT addresses the root cause of issues, by passing the current symptoms.
Does RTT involve regression?
Regression in RTT involves revisiting scenes from the past to identify root causes or beliefs linked to an issue. It’s a method for understanding the significance, relevance and meaning attributed to those scenes without reliving the emotional intensity. As an adult, the process aims to create a safe space for observation and exploration.
How does RTT differ from traditional hypnotherapy?
RTT is characterised by its rapid and targeted nature, often achieving results in a shorter time compared to traditional hypnotherapy, as it aims to uncover the root cause of issues quickly.
What kind of issues can RTT address?
RTT is effective for various issues, including anxiety, phobias, self-esteem, weight management, and behavioural patterns. It is also used for improving performance, overcoming trauma, and fostering personal growth.
Is hypnosis the same as being in a trance?
While hypnosis is involved in RTT, it’s more about creating a focused and receptive state of mind rather than a traditional deep trance. Clients remain aware and engaged throughout the process.
Is RTT suitable for everyone?
RTT is generally suitable for most individuals. However, it’s essential to consult with a qualified RTT practitioner to determine the appropriateness based on individual circumstances.
Are the changes achieved through RTT long lasting?
RTT aims for lasting transformation by addressing the root causes of issues. However, individual experiences may vary, and follow-up sessions or reinforcement techniques may be recommended.
Is RTT backed by scientific research?
While more research is ongoing, there is growing evidence supporting the effectiveness of hypnotherapy, including RTT, in various areas such as pain management, anxiety reduction, and behaviour change.
